Case study - IT
An IT networking start up company engaged our services several years ago when their financial controller moved on to another post. Initially, we supplied management accounting services by seconding a member of staff for one day per week.
As well as supplying day-to-day services, we were able to provide advice on industry specific issues, such as accounting for the income deriving from IT support contracts. Our input assisted the company to continue to grow and it soon had an impressive customer base, including large London-wide estate agencies, and a major national sporting association.
Since then, the company has acquired a further networking group, and also a group supplying ADSL services to residential customers across the country. We advised throughout on the accounting and financial effects of these acquisitions.
The group now has a turnover in excess of £14m and we continue to supply auditing and other ad hoc services to it.
